About Angela

Written by Robert

What does a party princess, a gym rat, a world traveler, and Wonder Woman all have in common? Individually they don’t have much in common, but collectively they form important parts of what makes Angela such an incredible person.

Did I mention she's Wonder Woman?

I’ve never met anyone more naturally gifted with children. You see, she gets them, always - from the happy-go-lucky to the too young to tell you what’s wrong to the kids with special needs, Angela instantly makes friends with all of them. Her nieces and nephews absolutely love her - she gives the best cuddles. She’s a party princess for
FUN, not because it’s a job she has to do but because she loves to dress up and help kids live in a world of imagination and wonder. Whether she’s Elsa belting out “Let It Go” with a room full of kids, or painting faces as Cinderella - Angela makes the world a truly magical place. It’s no surprise that Disney World is her absolute favorite place in the world, and seeing two magical forces together at the same place is awe-inspiring.

Have you ever met someone that loves cake so much she works out so she can eat cake whenever she wants? Or pizza? That’s Angela - they're kind of a toss-up for her but cake probably wins in the end. She’s always loved dancing but about seven years ago she got a gym membership and hasn’t stopped since. I’ve seen her lift weight she never thought possible, and get out of her comfort zone all while falling in love with something that used to scare her. She inspires me to work harder and be a better person every day.

Angela has lived all over the US and in Europe, but she claims Georgia as her home. I couldn’t ask for a better travel companion.  She’s always willing to try any food, and always looking for our next great adventure together.  She loves learning about different cultures and seeing all the amazing things people do in other parts of the world. I can’t count the number of times I’ve heard her say, “I can’t wait to one day show my kids something like this” when we explore the world together.

While she does dress up as Wonder Woman to entertain kids - she’s literally a real-life Wonder Woman. Just like Princess Diana, she is strong and fierce in standing up for what’s right and never compromises her morals. Angela has more compassion than anyone I have ever seen, and makes sure everyone feels welcomed, loved, and individually special. And her humility leaves me in awe, and people are drawn to her because they can’t help but see the light in her.

Angela has natural maternal instincts and I know she will be an unbelievable mother. This past year I have often just looked at her and wondered, “how on earth is she real?” She’s faced every obstacle placed in her path with faith that God has a plan for her all while making sure everyone along the way is taken care of and loved. She is my rock and best friend, and I wouldn’t want to be on this journey with anyone else.
